Job Description
We’re looking for a strong, technical, and entrepreneurial CS profile who knows what great SaaS Customer Success looks like. We're excited to build it from scratch with a smart, ambitious team. You’ll work closely with Product, Sales, and Marketing to turn happy customers into long-term champions.
You’ll be the first full-cycle CS hire (#5 in the team!) helping us set up the foundation while acting as a true partner for our customers and across teams. You’ll need to be ready to hustle, wear multiple hats, and get deep into the product, the customer journeys, and the mobility sector.
What you'll be doing
- Build our Customer Success playbook from scratch: including onboarding flows, lifecycle planning, QBRs, training, and adoption tactics
- Support customers directly and collaborate with Product and Marketing to build scalable support processes
- Proactively manage upsell, retention, and expansion, always acting in the customer's best interest
- Set up and advise on tooling (like Intercom, Notion, HubSpot) to scale CS efficiently
- Ask the “why” behind every customer need, using a critical, solution-oriented mindset
- Handle challenging conversations with customers as an opportunity to deepen the relationship
- Collaborate with Sales on handovers and upsell opportunities, planting seeds for future growth
- Monitor customer health and proactively address risks before they become churn
- Collect, structure, and prioritise feedback for the Product team
- Segment customers based on ARR, onboarding success, and engagement to tailor service levels
- Create success and growth plans with customers: helping them define where they want to go and anchoring Muto’s role in that journey
- Jump into startup tasks outside your immediate scope: flexibility is a must!
What we are looking for
- Have 3–5+ years of experience in a SaaS Customer Success or Support role
- Strong technical understanding and willingness to learn our product inside-out
- Proactive, entrepreneurial, and solutions-driven attitude — you love building from scratch
- Experience working with tools like Intercom, Zendesk, Notion, HubSpot — and advising on tool setup
- Comfortable leading difficult conversations with customers
- Experience with lifecycle management, upsell, and retention planning
- Customer segmentation experience: you can help set service levels based on ARR, onboarding success, etc.
- Commercial but not salesy — you're a relationship builder who facilitates growth naturally
- Critical mindset: you're not afraid to ask customers hard questions to get to real needs
- Team player who loves cross-functional collaboration with Product, Sales, and Marketing
- Eager to grow: potential to evolve into a team lead role as Muto grows
- Based in Belgium or the Netherlands or and fluent in both Dutch and English
